Details:
Adam Hecht worked as a Tennis Instructer and is the son of a successful Hollywood Producer. He was last seen on June 7, 1989 at his Beverly Hills residence, leaving in a vehicle he had rented while his own car was being repaired. Two weeks after Adam was reported missing, the rental car containing his wallet, money, credit cards and driver's license, was found abandoned in Beverly Hills.

Prior to his disappearance Adam had become increasingly concerned about people less fortunate, and less interested in his own privileged status. He had befriended a homeless man known as Tony and invited him to move into his apartment. After Adam's disappearance Tony remained in the apartment until Adam's family had him evicted. Police questioned Tony and they felt that he did not have anything to do with Adams disappearance.

At the time of his disappearance, Adam had been interested in meditation. He had previously left on his own for a few days, but was never gone this long without contacting his family.
