Date of Birth: Approximately 1947 Age at Disappearance: 43 Height: 5'6"- 5'8" Weight: 200 Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Race/Sex: Hispanic Male AKA/Alias: Apolonio or Tortillas Mr. Contreras only speaks Spanish and has the diminished mental capacity of a 2 yr. old child. He was last seen wearing a beige sweater, a white and maroon shirt, blue khaki pants, orange tennis shoes and a plastic identification bracelet with his name and address on it Details: Apolino Contreras was found walking alone in Camarillo, California on August 2, 1997. He was only able to tell authorities his name and that he had 5 Brothers. When nobody came forward to identify him he was taken to the Fountain Gardens convalescent home on Santa Ana Blvd in Los Angeles. On March 9, 1998, his caretaker noticed he was missing and called authorities. According to other residents he was seen walking away from the facility.
