Date Missing: July 6, 2004 from Saint Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri.
Date of Birth: January 24, 1989
Age at Disappearance: 15
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 110 lbs.
Hair: Blonde/Sandy
Eyes: Blue
Race/Sex: White, Female

Ashley was last known to be wearing size 5 "Reebok" brand tennis shoes with red accents, blue jean shorts, and a black shirt. Underneath she had on a black bikini with cherries on it. She was wearing a ring with two hearts joined together. Ashley has scar on her left wrist and has piercings of her ears, tongue and navel. She has been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and occasionally suffers from asthma.
Details:
Ashley was last seen on July 6, 2004, when she was dropped off at the Krug Pool in Saint Joseph, Missouri with her younger brother. When her mother came to get them later, the brother was waiting but Ashley was gone. Ashley had planned to run away to California with Christopher M. Hart, a 32-year-old parolee.
Mr. Hart was later arrested in Washington, were he had been staying with a cousin in the Olympia area. Ashley was not with him and the cousin states he never saw or heard Mr. Hart mention her.
Mr. Hart refuses to say what happened to Ashley or cooperate with police in any way. While in custody he began acting bizarrely and was sent to the state mental hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
