Burt was last seen at his residence in the vicinity of 10th and Redondo in Long Beach, CA. Burt is believed to have traveled toward a destination on the south side of Yosemite National Park along with his friend Steven Clark. They were driving in a white Ford Festiva with Indiana license plate. The vehicle was later located just off Hwy 395 near the California/Nevada border.
