Details:
Charles, a Waterford cattle rancher disappeared in December of 1972. Prior to his disappearance, Charles was bilked of $30,000. He told police the men had threatened to kill him. Later his truck was found parked along Highway 132 east of Waterford with the keys still in the ignition. According to family members, Charles was despondent over the loss of the money and may have committed suicide.
