David has a long scar on the inside of his left arm, a large surgical scar down middle of chest from heart surgery, and a scar on the left side of his neck, There is a gap in David's upper teeth.
Details:
On 8/17/06, David Knowles, who works as a driver for a Glenn County drilling company, drove to the Sims Flat Campground where he met up with friends. His girlfriend was supposed to go along but cancelled at the last minute.
Just before dark, David left the campsite to use one of the restroom facilities, he never returned. His vehicle and personal belongings were still at the campsite but David was no where to be found.
