Doug was last known to be going for a run in the Palomar Mountain State Park area of San Diego County. On March 25, 1995, his vehicle was found parked in the area, nothing inside the vehicle indicated foul play. It is feared that he may have become injured or lost and unable to seek help. Despite a large search, Doug remains missing.
