Elwyn was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, black pants and brown shoes. He wears Bi-focal glasses with silver wire frames. He was also wearing a diamond Masonic ring and three gold chains, one with a charm.He had on a watch, either with a black leather band and gold face, or a a gray metal band with a grayish face. Elwyn has a scar on his right ankle.

Elwyn was last seen about 10:00 pm at his residence on Shiloh Ln. in Lancaster, California.
He had told family members that he would soon be leaving for a drive to Mesquite, Nevada.
Later, his stripped and abandoned Corvette was located near Edwards Airforce Base in the Antelope Valley of California. He had recently begun showing signs of a mental problem and may be confused, lost or injured.
