Frederick is also known by family members to use the name of William Donald Leach or Bill. Details: Frederick Donald Leach disappeared in March 1976 from his home in Laytonville, California. A friend after arriving at Frederick's home noticed that the house had been ransacked, many things had been stolen and Frederick was nowhere to be found. After notifying Frederick's daughter, a missing persons report was filed. According to the daughter, the items missing included several vehicles; a 1960s Ford Falcon, two Willy's PU jeeps and two motorcycles; a Harley Davidson and a Suzuki. Foul play is suspected.
