Heidi has a gap between her top front teeth and one of her top teeth is discolored. She has multiple piercings in both ears, and two small moles on her abdomen. Her right wrist was previously fractured. She has a tattoo on her right hip of the "yin yang" symbol. Heidi has been diagnosed with a bipolar disorder and is an epileptic.

Details:
On May 31, 2005, Heidi, who is sometimes homeless, stayed at the Torres Community Shelter. The following night she stayed at the motel 6, located in the 600 block of Manzanita Ct. in Chico, CA. According to family Heidi has always stayed in touch before.
In August, nearly two months after her family reported her missing, Heidi was reportedly assisted by two Caltrans employees who found her walking along Highway 36 in Tehama County in weather exceeding 100 degrees. They provided her with a ride to Redding, where she said she would catch a bus to Portland, Ore. The men didn't learn Heidi was a missing person until several days after they dropped her off near the Sundial Bridge. Some agencies report the date she went missing as June 8th.
