had a red backpack, a walking cane and was carrying his Olympus Camera with him.

Details:
James J. Arthur, a retired Lt. Col., was last seen on Monday, July 28, 2008 when he left his Fresno
home and headed to Star Lakes in the Sierra National Forest for a fishing expedition. When he failed to
return home that night, his family became worried and called 911.
The next day his vehicle was discovered near the entrance of Iron Lakes, southeast of Star Lakes. The
Madera County Sheriff's Office says there were no signs of foul play at the truck.
