Marty was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, brown corduroy pants, and a "Harley Davidson" Baseball cap. He had on a neck chain with an Indian Head nickel pendent (see photo below).
His front top tooth (#9) was discolored and the other (#8) was an implant. He had a horse head tattoo on his right arm, and a cross and rose tattooed on his left arm.
Details:
On July 20, 1986 at approximately 3:00 pm., Marty was called by a friend to meet her at the nearby Circle K Market. He left his residence and has not been seen or heard from since.
In 1990, Joseph Allen Stanley a childhood friend was charged with his murder and sent to trial, the jury deadlocked and a mistrial was declared. Charges were refiled and the Jury once again deadlocked resulting in another mistrial. The Prosecution declined to file charges a 3rd time and Stanley was released. Marty's remains have never been found.
