Michael was last seen wearing a t-shirt with the sleeves ripped off and an old pinkish scarf. His hair is shoulder
length and he may have a beard.

Details:
Michael Ficery, was reported missing on June 21, 2005, two days after his wilderness permit expired. Ficery
was last seen on June 15, 2005 on the trail to the Tiltill Valley near the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir.
His backpack with a map, camera and water bottle removed, was found near Tilltill Mountain, outside his
planned route in what is described as a treacherous area.
Michael from Santa Barbara, California is an experienced hiker and backpacker. It is feared he may have
become injured or lost. Helicopters, scent-sniffing dogs, and search teams, including Marines from Camp
Pendleton have searched the area with no results.
