Michael has a 3" surgical scar on his left collar bone. He was last seen wearing a T-shirt, shorts, a San Francisco Giants, or a 49ers ball cap. He would have been wearing either his tennis shoes, or hiking boots, and possibly a watch.
Details:
Michael had set up camp at Sand Bar Flat along the Stanislaus River's main fork, west of Beardsley Reservoir in Tuolumne County. Some friends were expected to join him the next day to do some fishing. His friends arrived at the camp the next day to find Michael's camp intact, but Michael and his dog Matilda, were missing.
Later, a strange man walked out of the woods carrying a gun, he confronted the young men asking who they were and if they were looking for "Mikey". The young men waited six hours for Michael to return while the stranger sat on a nearby tree stump, cocking the pistol. The friends believe he may have been wearing Michael's boot's. Four days later, the dog Matilda, worn out and dehydrated showed up back at camp. She was unable to lead Authorities to Michael as hoped. He has not been seen or heard from since.
