Details:
In July 1996, Mike went camping in the area of Nettle Springs and Apache Canyon, in the upper Ojai area. He had told friends he would be staying at a cabin in Apache Canyon. His vehicle was located parked near Nettle Springs, about eight miles east of California 33, on Apache Canyon Road. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Mike was described as "suicidal" when he disappeared. At the time Mike went missing, he was employed at the Turning Point Foundation in Ventura.
