Nancy was last seen at her home in Belmont, California by her daughter on August 11th at about 8:30 a.m.
Sometime later, Nancy left her home for a day trip to the coast. She was reported missing by her husband
the following morning when she failed to return.
Police found her tan 2001 Mazda minivan in the area of Scotts Creek on State Highway 1 near Davenport in
Santa Cruz County. Just yards away, investigators found her empty beach chair and sun hat. Locked inside
the vehicle was Nancy's wallet, containing $84 in cash and her credit card. The keys to the minivan have
never been found.
Nancy reportedly was seen having dinner at the New Davenport Cash Store and Restaurant with an
unidentified man the afternoon before she disappeared. It is unknown if the man described as an Asian or
Polynesian male in his 30s or 40s and said to be approximately 5'6" with salt and pepper hair, weighing about
150 lbs., has anything to do with Nancy's disappearance. Police have been unable to locate him for
