Details:
Naomi had been staying with her boyfriend James Lee Jespersen and another man Todd Andrew Swallows in Wildwood.
Because of her transient lifestyle, Naomi’s family did not report her missing immediately.
When they found out there had been a fire at the remote property where Jespersen and Hagerman were living, they became worried.
Both trailers and Naomi's pick up truck had completely burned. Investigators said the area was searched for human remains, but none were located.
Later, Todd Swallows disappeared, his body was found in the Trinity River in the Junction City area. He died of blunt force trauma to the head, and his death was determined to be a homicide.
Investigaters sought James Jespersen for questioning and eventually found him in Alaska and jailed him for being a felon with a firearm. He was questioned but never charged in either case.
Naomi's family believes she was killed, and a death certificate has been issued listing her cause of death as undetermined.
