Paul was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, shorts and a leather beaded necklace.

Details:
Paul was last seen at the family residence in Fresno, California on September 9, 1999. He indicated that he
was going camping with a friend near Shaver Lake, in the Sierra National Forest. His friend told investigators
that Paul abruptly left their campsite during the evening of September 10, 1999.
According to the China Lake Mountain Rescue Group, Paul and his friend were smoking pot and drinking.
Paul's friend was awakened by Paul yelling and throwing things out of the tent before running off into the
forest. The friend got scared, grabbed his sleeping bag and spent the night about 75 yards away. In the
morning, he went back to the tent and saw that Paul had not returned. He hiked out and reported the
incident. Paul has not been heard from since.
