Randy was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, camouflage pants, army green jacket and carrying an
army green backpack. Dental records are available.

Details:
Randy an experienced outdoorsman, had survival training in the Army and worked for the California
Department of Forestry. He had also been a volunteer firefighter.
On October 10, 1988 around 6:30 am., Randy was dropped off by a family member in the vicinity of
Tipton Rd. and Whitewater Rd. in the Whitewater area of Riverside County for a hiking trip. He was
reportedly seen at the base of the San Jacinto mountains between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. the same
day. He had indicated that he was intending to hike the north side of Mt. San Jacinto. Randy has not
been seen or heard from since.
