Details:
Rayman an avid camper and hiker, left his parents a note at their Fountain Valley Home on Jan. 20, 2007 stating that he would be hiking for a few days. When he hadn't returned after a week, he was reported missing.
Later, off-roaders found his vehicle, a dark blue Honda Accord parked and locked off of Highway 395 about 15 miles north of Kramer Junction near Fremont Peak in the San Bernardino County desert. Inside the vehicle was a hand-drawn map with four lines representing where he parked and where he intended to hike. Sheriff's Volunteer searchers covered more than 200 square miles in that area but were never able to locate Rayman.
