Details:
On February 18, 1986, Rogest told his family he was going to a local hardware store. He has not been seen since.
The day after he disappeared he called a friend, said he didn't feel well and wouldn't be going to work.
Two days later police spotted him; he seemed confused but gave them the phone number to his sister. When the
sister arrived, he was gone. A month later his car was found parked on a busy street, 20 miles away. His personal
belongings, including his glasses and dentures were still inside.
A nearby mechanic said he had spoken to Rogest and that he had left the car there to be repaired. He said that
he appeared to be staggering and spoke with slurred speech.
Rogest has never been located; his family had him legally declared deceased in 1995.
