Details:
Rosemary, a resident of San Anselmo was last seen in the upper Wooley Creek drainage area near Spirit Lake, located
in the Marble Mountain Wilderness area of the Klamath National Forest.

Rosemary had been attending a weekend retreat with the Earth Circle Association. Sometime during the afternoon
she set off to take a short hike, perhaps looking for a peaceful site to sit and write in her journal which she had
taken with her. When Rosemary didn't return, officials were contacted and a search was coordinated.

Family and friends said that Rosemary was in good health mentally and physically and wouldn't have walked away
without any intentions of returning. It is believed that she may have become lost or injured in the heavy forest
terrain.

During the search, a tuft of hair that was positively identified as belonging to Rosemary was located in the brush
about a 1/2 mile away from where she was last seen. In spite of all search efforts, no other clues were ever found.
Rosemary remains missing.
