Scott last had contact with family via telephone the evening of August 11, 2006.
He called them from his sail boat which was docked at Isthmus Cove in Catalina Island. His boat, still docked in the same spot was checked by authorities, inside they located his cell phone and identification but Scott was nowhere to be found.
