Tera has pierced ears; she was last seen wearing a white sports bra/top, shorts and multi-colored athletic shoes.
Details:
On August 22, 1998, 16 yr. old Tera left her residence in Redding, California to go for a jog. The last person believed to have seen Tera was her former martial arts instructor, and married, adult boyfriend, Troy Zink.
Troy had told authorities that Tera called him during the evening of August 22, and asked him to meet her near her home. Troy claimed that she requested money, and when he refused, she became angry and asked him to drop her off near Old Alturas Rd. and Old Oregon Trail in Redding. He stated that after he dropped her off, he drove alone to Hang Glider Hill to pray, and later returned to his home.
Prior to her disappearance, Tera had written several journal entries stating that she was planning to end her relationship with Troy. The family now believes this may be the reason she went to meet with him. Tera has not been seen or heard from since that meeting and Troy has refused to cooperate further with authorities.
