Details:
Troy Nelms went missing after he opened what was supposed to be a locked door sometime during the night of June 5 and wandered off. He was discovered missing about 6:30 a.m. Administrators of the facility, the Paragon Gardens Memory Care unit in Mission Viejo, initially told police Troy had been gone only one hour, they later learned he may have left as early as midnight.
