Vern Erno, an 82-year-old Washington state resident who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, was visiting family in Arroyo Grande on Dec. 28, 2003, when he disappeared. He was last seen at approximately 1:40 p.m. near the Laguna Village Shopping Center at the intersection of Madonna Rd. and Los Osos Valley Rd. in San Luis Obispo, California.
